As a small company that has chosen to produce new clothes in a world of overconsumption, we try to work for all components of the brand to be in line with our values where good ethics, sustainability and lessened environmental harm are fundamental.
Our garments are carefully designed in Sweden where patterns and first samples have been made to avoid shipping back and forth between us and our manufacturer. Once perfected they are made of a high-quality double-sided organic cotton terry that is knitted, dyed and finished in Portugal. Using a special technique called ketting knitting where every single loop of terry is tied onto a mesh made of polyamide to give each garment strength and wear resistance. The material is durable at the same time as it breathes and feels comfortable against your skin. In addition to the durability of the organic cotton itself, the timeless design contributes to our vision of creating garments lasting for generations.
Portugal is not only known for its fine cotton terry but also for providing good ethical working conditions and delivering quality craftsmanship. Although it is not Sweden's next-door neighbour, we value being able to transport our production by truck and foremost European laws and policies concerning fair Labor practices being followed.
Take good care of your garments and they will be your devoted companions for years to come.
We recommend washing at lower temperatures with natural or mild detergent. Let hang-dry or tumble on low heat until damp and then let hang-dry. If a terry loop snags, please cut it off instead of pulling it to avoid any further damage.
Other than that; wear them often and with lots of love!
